PROVIDING SERVICES FOR:

Job Seekers  |  Employers  |  Volunteers  |  Seniors  |  Our Community

Welcome

Welcome to the NexusBC Community Resource Centre. We are a registered charity located in Vernon, British Columbia.  Our doors first opened in 1988 to provide a number of employment-related services to individuals in the North Okanagan. Today, we have expanded and continue to provide many excellent programs and services including those for jobseekers, employers, seniors and those wishing to volunteer in the community. We also host the annual Vernon Job Fair.

NexusBC Community Resource Centre’s Better at Home program is partnering with the Community Foundation of the North Okanagan and the United Way of the Lower Mainland, local volunteers, non-profits and businesses to ensure that our seniors are staying safe and receiving the help they need. If you know of seniors who need grocery or pharmacy pick-up and delivery, prepared meal delivery, phone or virtual visiting, please have them dial 211 or visit bc211.ca to sign up for services. Once this information is collected it is sent to NexusBC Better at Home of the North Okanagan program and through the help of volunteers and our community we will be meeting these needs. If you know of individuals who want to volunteer, again send them to BC211 and once vetted they will be referred to us. Thanks in advance to all our community partners, volunteers, small businesses and local non-profits who will be assisting with this process. It will take a village!
