limiting their services, but will still strive to return all phone
messages and emails.
During uncertain times supporting those in need is even more of a
priority, so NexusBC Community Resource Centre is endeavouring to keep
our connections operational, supporting our clients, all the while
adhering to the new provincial mandates. We are following our Pandemic
Plan and have switched all services to virtual (meaning through
telephone, email, on-line and webinars). Our office hours and staff are
reduced to allow for social distancing, however those needing assistance
are to leave a message and we return their calls as soon as possible.
The Tax Clinic has been postponed
and we do hope to reopen when this issue is under control. The
government of Canada has announced that the tax return deadline has been
extended until June.
Vernon Job Fair held by
NexusBC, scheduled for April 8th from 4:30-6:30 has also been postponed,
date to be determined.
