Covid-19 Update

NexusBC in Vernon will be closing its doors until further notice to support the effort to contain the spread of COVID-19 in our community and to our senior population.

NexusBC will be limiting their services, but will still strive to return all phone messages and emails.

During uncertain times supporting those in need is even more of a priority, so NexusBC Community Resource Centre is endeavouring to keep our connections operational, supporting our clients, all the while adhering to the new provincial mandates. We are following our Pandemic Plan and have switched all services to virtual (meaning through telephone, email, on-line and webinars). Our office hours and staff are reduced to allow for social distancing, however those needing assistance are to leave a message and we return their calls as soon as possible.

The Tax Clinic has been postponed and we do hope to reopen when this issue is under control. The government of Canada has announced that the tax return deadline has been extended until June.

The annual Vernon Job Fair held by NexusBC, scheduled for April 8th from 4:30-6:30 has also been postponed, date to be determined.
