Wildland Nexus

Wildland Nexus is dedicated to

of BC’s natural resources.

Based near Smithers, British Columbia Canada, Wildland Nexus consults on natural resources management.


Services offered by Wildland Nexus are interdisciplinary in scope and include:

Principal, Liz Osborn   MRM, MSc, RPBio

Liz Osborn has a multidisciplinary background in natural resources management and research. Her education includes university degrees in forestry and biology (BSc, Honours), resource sociology (MSc) and natural resources management (MRM).

 

She recently served for over five years on the British Columbia Forest Practices Board, including as vice-chair and acting chair. During that time she co-authored more than 50 public reports. Previously she was executive director of the Outdoor Recreation Council of BC and editor of The Outdoor Report. Liz is a Registered Professional Biologist with the College of Applied Biology in British Columbia.
